For Immediate Release

To avoid diverting their efforts to additional mid-season testing, KB Racing will debut a third Pro Stock race car at this year’s US Nationals. The car will be run by KB’s induction specialists Wilson Manifolds of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Wilson Manifolds and KB Racing have enjoyed an exclusive arrangement since the team’s inception.

Keith Wilson and Jason Line speak of induction development almost daily. Occasionally, these discussions create more new parts to test than time allows. To stay ahead with their test program without jeopardizing their Pro Stock points lead, KB Racing and Wilson Manifolds decided to join forces and enter a third Summit Racing Pro Stock car in this year’s 54th annual Mac Tools US Nationals at Indianapolis. This third car will be driven by Wilson Manifold’s employee, Robbie Mansfield.

Forty-four year old Mansfield has accumulated years of experience with Dingman Racing in cars of this caliber. In fact, he’s not only uniquely qualified for the driving position but also from the testing objective. Mansfield is the consummate insider. As manager of Wilson’s sheet metal division, he resides in the secretive world of Pro Stock and Funny Car induction designs. He also presides over the company’s interests in NASCAR and in a dozen other series. His addition to the KB Racing team is aimed at adding an unexpected element to the event, attracting further exposure for KB’s sponsor, and Wilson’s distributor, Summit Racing, and providing the KB team with more valuable data.
