Turn Key Engines, first with pulley kit for latest Ford crate engines

Written by Moore Good Ink

Oceanside, CA: Turn Key Engine Supply has rolled out their Road Runner, the first serpentine belt-driven pulley kit to empower aftermarket air conditioning and power steering systems on the 5.0L Ford Coyote 4v modular, the Boss 302, and the 5.0L Aluminator crate engines.

Created particularly for muscle cars, street machines, street rods, and hot rod builders the Road Runner belt-drive assembly makes it easy to transplant late-model Ford engine technology with all the important accessories to the earlier car. “Until now these accessories have not been offered with these crate engines,” says Turn Key’s Kolby Enger. “The customers who wanted to add power steering and air conditioning had to create their own pump and compressor mountings and pulleys and determine their operating clearances and alignment issues and calculate pulley speeds for themselves.”

Turn Key’s Road Runner is a high quality compact and complete package. It provides all the brackets and pulleys, which are made from 6061 T6 aluminum, as well as a PSC power steering pump and Sanden Sd7 A/C compressor. This belt-drive system is compatible with the Ford Racing Performance Parts and OEM alternator arrangement, which, incidentally, can be added to the Road Runner drive system package if necessary. The Road Runner also includes all other Turn Key components you might expect, such as power steering reservoir with fittings, A/C fittings, belt, O.E.M tensioner and all necessary hardware. Available in natural, chrome plated, or black hard-anodized finishes, Road Runner prices start at $1650.
